This action is commonly known as “Limping.”
Fish limping usually implies that the player is entering the hand with a weaker or marginal hand, hoping to see a cheap flop in the hopes of improving their hand. More experienced players may sometimes view fish limping as a sign of a weaker player who might not fully understand optimal betting strategies.
